It's been fuckin' hot here in Dallas for the past week! It's been over 100 degrees for the past like 7 days.
The very nice couple that own the property where I keep my horses told me I could use their swimming pool while they are on vacation. Woo Hoo!
So of course I had to take them up on their offer. They even said I could bring a friend.
I brought a "special friend" if you know what I mean. wink wink.
For some reason he wouldn't take his clothes off when we swam. I guess he didn't want to blind me with all his sparkly greatness. The shades sure came in handy though.
And also, HOORAY!!! This is my 100th post! I've been blogging for right around a year now and I want to thank all of you that read and follow me.
So, in honor of you fine people I'm doing a giveaway!
I'm trying to be all artsy fartsy and make my own jewelry, so I'm going to be giving away a couple of things I made and a gift certificate to Starbucks!
This is a bracelet I made, inspired by Twilight of course. The pendent is a Swarovski crystal heart pendent.
The bracelet is silver, not gold.
These flip flops just give you an idea of what the finished product will look like. I made these for my sister as a demo pair but the winner will be able to pick the color flip flips they want and the design of ribbon that is used. It's a little hard to see, but the flip flops have Swarovski crystals on them as well.
I'm all about the bling baby!
I'm trying to make necklaces too, but so far have just done the bracelets and flip flops. I'm also going to be doing hair accessories. When I have more pieces to share and sell I will let y'all know.
