I Wish People Were Cleaner

Thanks to you all for the great suggestions on where to go for home decor.

I did end up going to Ross and found an AWESOME rug! And I found some great stuff at Michaels too. I think I might go to Ikea on Saturday after work and see what else I can find.
Once I have my place the way I want it to look, I'll post some pictures.

And speaking of pictures, do I have some doozies for you today!
I did laundry yesterday and this is how I found the laundry room.

I know, disgusting right?!

And this was outside my dirty neighbor's door.

Also, while moving in a couple of weeks ago I found this behind my bedroom closet door.

There are 9 pair of mens shoes here. Mostly nice work shoes but there is one pair of bitchin' blue suede loafers!
I don't know if the previous tenant left them accidently or what but wherever he is I bet he's barefoot.

the shoe thing is kinda creepy. funny...but creepy. Did you have to use tongs to remove all that from the back of the door?

Bless you.

are you per chance going to the blog boot camp in Philadelphia next month? There's a Bobbi that has signed up and I wondered if it might be you.

All I can say is,...if I moved and forgot all my shoes and a woman who wears a size 8 moved in, she'd think she died and gone to Heaven! There's many, many pairs I haven't even worn yet. (Is there a 12-step program for shoe collectors?)

I hope you're searching for a laundry mat as well as decorating stores...and you should leave those shoes outside your door. You don't want the former tenant stalking you to get them back.

Throw the mens shoes in front of the neighbors place....they'll never notice.
and then....you call the DI & give them your neighbors address for a pickup. Tell them everything will be waiting on the porch.
I got rid of an eyesore desk that way. Nasty particle board crap was falling apart from the weather...it was time to put us all out of our misery.

That laundry room....makes me what to throw up. This will be great for my diet. I'll just come here and look at that pic every time I want to eat.

Was that chair there before?

Gross!
