Kids Say The Darndest Things

This little girl is my niece and she is the sunshine of my life right now.

She makes me laugh every day, even when I think I have nothing to laugh about.

I wanted to share a few of the things she has said during the time I've been here in Utah with her.

Just last night she was crawling under my legs while I was sitting on the couch. She put her head between my legs and said "I smell somping". Hmmm, well that can't be good.

Then immediately she says "It smells like ice cream!" "Marshmallow ice cream!"

Good to know my nether region smells like marshmallow ice cream. I'll have to work that in on dates somehow.

Then later we were throwing a nerf type ball back and forth and says "Aunt Bobbi, were playing throw!"

Oh and earlier she was chasing her brother around the kitchen and my dog Taylor got in her way. She points at Taylor and says "Outta my way son!"

I have no idea where she gets some of this stuff.

And this is my favorite.

I have a bit of a potty mouth. I try to watch it around the kids but apparently I haven't been very good at it.

A couple of months ago my 120 pound dog Buck knocked her over. All the times before she would scream and cry but not this time. After he knocked her over, she stood up, looked at me and said "Son of a bitch!" That my phrase of choice, can you tell?

I couldn't help it, I started laughing. Hard.

Lord, I love that little girl.

My Online Dating Experiences...So Far

I think you all know that my boss set me up a profile on an online dating site a while ago.

I have been talking to a couple of decent sounding and looking men.

That's because all the others are goofy.

I've lost count of how many men that responded to my ad but there have only been a few I've thought worth pursuing.

These are some of the men that have shown an interest in me that I have decided NOT to talk with.

There were some others I wanted to show you but I wasn't able to post them for some reason.

My 2010 New Years Resolutions

So I finally came up with a list of resolutions. Last night. At like 11:30pm.

Maybe I should add to stop procrastinating to my list.

Anyhoo, here's my list.

• To get breast implants.
• To shop more.
• To become BFF's with Kathy Griffin. Or Paris Hilton.
• To get Anderson Cooper to love me.
• If the above doesn't happen, then to find a rich husband. Or at the very least, a sugar daddy.

Although I would really love for those to happen, I know the possibility is very slim.

So here are my real (more plausible) resolutions.

• To save more.
• To travel more.
• To do the things that make my happy. (and not listen to anyone who thinks I'm being silly, crazy or stupid)
• To be the kind of person my dogs think I am.
