I'm In A Funk..

My depression is rearing it's ugly head again.

I've struggled with it on and off my whole adult life. Sometimes it's manageable and sometimes it gets to the point where I'm scared for myself.
Luckily at this point it's manageable without meds but it's slowly getting to the point where I may need to go see my doctor again.  And I hate that.  I don't like to take meds if I can help it.

I know a lot of people don't like to talk about their struggles with mental health but if by sharing mine with you all, maybe it will help someone else that is struggling and they will get the help they need.
Depression is nothing to be ashamed of and like the quote above says, it's not a sign of weakness either.
And asking for help is not a sign of weakness, it's a sign of strength.

So, I'm sorry if I haven't been present lately and reading many of your blogs.
I'm trying.  I'm trying to get better and get myself back on track.

Also, thanks for listening.

Twitter Is Fun

I love twitter.  You get to make lots of new "friends" and also get to interact with celebrities.  When they let you. Lol!
I've been lucky lately that celebrities have been responding to me.  If you remember here, Anderson Cooper responded to a tweet I sent him.
Earlier this week I tweeted a question to Andy Cohen during his Watch What Happens Live show with Brad Goreski and his boyfriend Gary Janetti. He never read my question on the air(I asked if they were going to have children) but later that night Gary DM'd me telling me how nice I was for saying I thought they'd make great parents!
And then last night, I got a response from Donald Trump Jr!  I know he's not a huge celebrity but I still thought it was cool.

Do you tweet to celebrities? Do they answer you?
